The quality of the food is very good BUT the delivery time is appalling on the weekends. The delivery consistently takes more orders than they can fulfill and doesn't bother updating customers it's going to be late. On more than one occasion I have waited over 2 hours for delivery (on a one hour quote). My recommendation is to stick to sun-thurs! EDIT: in the last few months they have gone from 3 stars to 5, they have employed extra weekend drivers to handle the increased demand, there food has stayed consistently good EDIT 2: Back down to 3 stars, they need to get there timing sorted out! I decided to do collection because I didn't want to wait the 90min for delivery, when I arrived (at the time they said) I was told they were running late and I should wait in the car, that was 20 min ago and I'm unhappy. I have seen there delivery guy collecting orders twice now so they are obviously taking on far more orders than they can handle. If they had said a different time I would have arrived then and saved myself a wasted night.

Great food would recommend, just a little expensive

We usually order from Chinese takeouts on Just Eat but none were open tonight so I thought I'd give these a go. The woman on the phone was lovely & helpful, it was great value, the portions were huge and the delivery came fast and safe with the driver wearing a mask and gloves. The food was incredible and we enjoyed everything we tried. We're never going to use any other places for Chinese now!

Went Saturday night, it was quiet , only a few other diners, (storm Cara !) The welcome was warm and genuine, the food absolutely delicious I would go again and definitely recommend

Great food and a really friendly atmosphere

Busy little restaurant - seems to be catered towards takeaway as there are not many tables. Service is good, good menu of choices, food was very good though it took a while to arrive - hopefully because it's freshly cooked rather than just served/warmed up. I liked having the table without being "encouraged" to move on. All in all well worth the visit and decent enough value.

Popped in for a take-a-way tonight as didn't have time to stay and eat. Oh my goodness what a beautiful meal. Absolutely the best I've had in years. I will certainly be coming back and maybe stay to eat on the premises next time.

We live outside the delivery area and happily drive to get food from China Garden, it's that good!

Lived in Colwyn bay for years loved the food moved away after years went back to the takeaway no taste, dry, horrible food the best thing was the prawn crackers will not go again

Lovely meal

A little backpart: me, my mother and my father were looking for something to eat, it was 10'o clock in the Evening and everything was closed but then we saw "the China Garden" we decided to eat there. So we walked in and one member of the service welcomed us nicely, he asked me if I wanted something to drink and so on... Later on we were served quickly and nice by the water, the food was very appealing and excellent. We were very happy afterwards.

My son, fiancée and I went to China Garden this evening for my birthday. The food was amazing. Even my son enjoyed it, and he's very picky about what he eats. The service was top notch as well. The man who took our orders and waited on was so welcoming, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend paying the extra to sit in the restaurant. It's well worth it. I'll definitely be going back.

Very subtle flavour. Not full of MSG and salt. Lovely egg fried rice.
